Determining if land is vacant is an issue that comes up quite often. Land with no houses, offices or other permanent structures. Vacant land may be available for development, or it may be set aside by a government or a private owner to remain vacant.

Land not being used at the present time but that may have utilities and infrastructure in place. Contrast with raw land.
